Dream Date

After getting dumped by Abigail (under 45 minutes), Jon sees a television show called Dream Date hosted by Skip Yenta, which sets 'losers' up with their a dream girl; Jon calls the number to see if they can help him. The next day as Jon is giving his applications to the secretary, Judy, Sid is informed by the producer that he'll need to find a way to earn money despite the low ratings. During the show, Jon is paired with Ursula Fenstermacher. As they leave, Garfield and Odie chase them but can't catch up. Just then, Judy notices they are worried. It turns out that the show is rigged and the producers want to play a dirty trick on Jon. They plan to get Ursula to propose to Jon and dump him on live television, just to get better ratings. Garfield decides to head to the French restaurant to stop Jon.

At the French restaurant, Jon fumbles with ordering, but Ursula doesn't seem to mind and decides to flirt with him. They are about to kiss each other until Garfield appears between them. Jon tries to get rid of him, but he causes a dessert cart to crash into Ursula. The next day, Ursula angrily reveals (on live television) that the show is rigged, and proceeds to spill their plans until the show is cut off. Outside, Jon is saddened and wonders if there's a girl out there for him, telling Garfield to give him an Okay if there is.

Just then Judy comes to apologize for the whole thing, but as she leaves, Garfield gives the Okay hand sign, hinting that Jon should go on a date with her.
