Featuring a new invisible character who doesn't speak
After a delivery to Peoples Alpha, a gangster planet, Bender is reduced to his eyes and mouth. Now he must search the universe for his missing body parts.

- Backwards-Firing Gun: When making a delivery, Leela has Bender bend the barrels of all the guns, leading to all the gang members killing themselves.
- Bring My Brown Pants: When Fry and Leela are being held at gunpoint by the Blips, Fry mentions a time they guessed what would happen if this situation happened, Leela told him he'd probably soil himself. He implies he did just that, but Leela interrupts him.
- Continuity Nod: When the crew meets The Borax Kid on the spaceship "The Feldspar Queen", a red haired woman with five eyes appears, similar to the five-eyed woman in "A Bicyclops Built for Two".
- Flirtatious Smack on the Ass: The Borax Kid comments that Bender's arms make him luckier with the ladies, afterwards one of Bender's arms slaps Leela on the behind.
- Joke of the Butt: Bender's reassembly eventually hits a snag when they are unable to recover his assplate, with his grievances including some bottom jokes.Amy: Bender, come join us, we're watching Rear Window!
Bender: I used to stick my rear out the window...
Zoidberg: If you prefer, we could watch Behind the Music.
Bender: My behind used to make music...
Hermes: Backdraft is on.
Bender: Even my ass wouldn't watch that. - Meet My Good Friends Lefty and Righty: Bender names his hands Gropey and Cheaty.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Leela refuses to arm criminals, so she has Bender sabotage the guns they're delivering. The guns turn out to be a peace offering, so when the receivers learn of the sabotage, violence erupts once more, and both gangs end up dead.
- Shout-Out: Fry gets his head stuck in a pot of "Hunny" akin to Winnie the Pooh. He even says "Oh bother".
- Soundtrack Dissonance: Bender's reunion with his ass-plate at the end (after it abandons its lighthouse duty) is accompanied by a heartwarming orchestral piece with fireworks in the background...which continues playing as we cut back and see all the ships crashing around the now-defunct lighthouse, blowing up in a manner similar to fireworks.
- Space Is an Ocean: Literally with the Sargaseous Sea, a region of space obscured by a perpetual gas cloud full of asteroids that spaceships regularly crash on. It even has a lighthouse whose owner regularly goes for salvage runs using his boat mounted bathysphere.
- Take That!: The bit where Bender remarks on the other characters mentioning movie and TV show titles that make unintentional butt jokes has him remark that not even his ass would watch Backdraft.
- Trashcan Bonfire: There's a couple of aliens huddled around a burning trashcan, which itself is a robot warming itself to another Trashcan Bonfire.
- Twitchy Eye: Bender does this when Fry didn't know Bender had an ass, despite his catchphrase, "Bite my shiny metal ass!".
- Yank the Dog's Chain: Bender’s legs are used as transplants to finally cure Tinny Tim’s limp… But Bender comes to steal them back, along with the wooden board he had to use as a substitute.
