Chapter 52: Splash

As Muko remembers how Trilamity Day affected her, she lashes out at Sephario. However, reliving her trauma causes her to melt. In the meantime, Kalita wakes up and is ready to join the fight.
- Body Horror: Muko starts to melt after remembering her past. And every time that Sephario hits her, Muko's body partially explodes.
- Determined Defeatist: Muko tells Sephario that she won't give up, even after melting and having most of her limbs blown off. However, it's clear that her determination to keep fighting is more out of desperation than genuine determination at this point.
- Hate Sink: Matroshka was already a horrible person by turning Muko into The Scapegoat in Chapter 24 by pretending to be the victim at a Spotter interview. However, this chapter reveals that she manipulated Muko into a relationship despite the latter still grieving her mother's death.
- Lustful Melt: Subverted, Muko melts, but it has nothing to do with lust. She's melting after being overwhelmed by her trauma.
- Sex for Solace: Muko started her relationship with Matroshka as a way to cope with her mother's death. Needless to say, it wasn't good for her mental health.
- You Are Too Late: Kalita wakes up and rushes to help Muko. However, she only arrives at the moment where Sephario defeats Muko by liquifying her melting body with a powerful punch to the face.
- Your Head Asplode: The last page of the chapter shows Sephario's fist punching through Muko's face since the latter is made of liquid at this point. Though Muko survives in the next chapter, it's still a brutal imagery.
