Chapter 49: Indifference

Freydar placed the sarcophagus containing her second Combagal in the ring. Assured of her victory, Freydar leaves. Seeing the Combagal that she disappointed walk away from her, Cookie apologizes to her. Freydar's answer is not what she expects.
- Assumed Win: Freydar doesn't bother to see the second match, confident that her Combagal, who is stronger than she was in her prime, can win the fight. Considering that it's Sephario, her confidence is justified.
- The Dreaded: Sephario's sheer presence causes fear in everyone who sees her.
- Like a Son to Me: Cookie considered Freydar the daughter that she never had, even on her harsher days as Fortune Cookie. As such, Cookie doesn't want Freydar to hate her and is very affected when Freydar tells her that she feels nothing but indifference to her.
- Mass "Oh, Crap!": Everyone reacts in shock upon seeing that Sephario is Freydar's second Combagal.
- The Power of Apathy: Freydar makes Cookie break down when she tells Cookie that she only feels indifference for her. Cookie is affected a lot because Freydar essentially cut her off her life.
- Red Baron: Sephario's title is "The Kalandesian Threat", which reflects how dangerous she is.
- Rejected Apology: Cookie apologizes to Freydar for abandoning her, admitting that she refused to see her at the hospital because she was ashamed of causing Freydar's retirement. Freydar replies by telling Cookie that she feels nothing but apathy for her, causing Cookie a lot of heartache.
- The Reveal: Freydar's second Combagal is Sephario, the greatest Heel of furry fighting.
- Wham Shot: The final page shows Sephario looming over Muko and Kalita, showing how big she is compared to them.
