Chapter 28: The World's Biggest Asshole
Kalita attempts to recover the Roda Kira Gang by defeating Gantus with her strongest attack.
Kalita discovers how far the Roda Kira Gang fell when she sees them burning down a park. Filled with anger and disgust, Kalita is prepared to rumble when Gantus decides to deal with her himself. The resulting fight becomes a turning point for Kalita that helps her make a decision in the future.- Batter Up!: Kalita steals the bat from one of her underlings and uses it to beat them up.
- Battle Amongst the Flames: The first half of Kalita's fight with Gantus takes place when the park is still burning, until the rain extinguishes the fire.
- Battle in the Rain: The second half of Kalita's fight against Gantus happens when it's raining, turning off the flames that are burning the park.
- The Bully: Gantus refers to Kalita as a bully because she became strong by defeating people who were weaker than her. Kalita, who proudly regards herself as a warrior, does not take it well.
- Call-Back: The chapter shows how Geffan and Banske got on bad terms with Kalita, their injuries, and how Kalita left the Roda Kira Gang.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Implied by the flashback scene showing Kalita as a kid with a cut on her cheek and sporting a Death Glare when remembered by the homeless raccoon.
- Dirty Coward: The Roda Kira Gang is afraid of Kalita when she gets pissed at them and announces her intention to beat them up. The second Gantus beats her and she shows fear, they point their fingers and laugh at her.
- Disappointed in You: Kalita angrily beats up Geffan and Banske, angrily calling them out for assaulting the homeless despite going against their former ideals.
- Evil Is Bigger: Gantus is one of the largest characters in the comic and also one of the most evil.
- Eye Scream: After Kalita break his leg, Banske accidentally pokes his eye with his large claws, injuring it.
- Hannibal Lecture: Gantus gives one to Kalita at the end of the chapter, telling her that she's a coward and a bully who became strong by defeating weaklings rather than facing opponents stronger than her that helped her to surpass her limits.
- Heroic Self-Deprecation: Kalita calls herself The World's Biggest Asshole for running away from Gantus.
- Hopeless Boss Fight: Kalita was aware in the previous chapter that Gantus wasn't going to be an easy fight, but this chapter makes her realize how outmatched she was against Gantus with the Curb-Stomp Battle he gives her and the Hannibal Lecture pointing out that she needs to get stronger if she wants a chance against him.
- Hypocrite: Gantus makes fun of Kalita for being The Bully when he's taunting her. However, he had his gang attack defenseless people, with all of the members enjoying it. They were all scared of fighting Kalita, but then laugh at her fear of Gantus when all of them were afraid of fighting her despite numerical advantage.
- Just Following Orders: Kalita doesn't take it well when her former underlings try to justify their brutality on the homeless with that excuse, especially since she saw them enjoying it.
- Normal Fish in a Tiny Pond: Gantus correctly implies that Kalita never fought people stronger than her, only building her strength by facing people who were weaker than her. As such, she's not used to fighting superior opponents, reacting with fear when Gantus proves to be better than her and running away when he counters her attack again.
- No-Sell: Gantus blocks Kalita's punch with a finger and blasts her away with his bark.
- One-Woman Army: Kalita is willing to punish all of the members of the Roda Kira Gang for their actions. They react with fear, knowing that they can't win against her.
- Politically Incorrect Hero: Kalita calls a homeless raccoon as trash panda, which is a vulgar way to call a raccoon.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Kalita gives this to the Roda Kira Gang, angrily calling them out on abandoning their principles for the sake of pursuing crime to satisfy their lowest instincts.
- The Runaway: Kalita is referred as such by a homeless raccoon she rescues. Based on the Death Glare she gives and the cut on her cheek, she had a bad home life.
- Super-Scream: Gantus can bark so loud the sound waves blast Kalita backwards.
- Title Drop: Kalita refers to herself as The World's Biggest Asshole after the end of her flashback.
- Wild Take: Banske makes one when Kalita approaches him as he saw her beat up Geffan. His attempts to calm her down ends with him having a broken leg and then him accidentally cutting himself in the eye with his claws.
- Whole Episode Flashback: Like with the previous chapter, this one is a full flashback that explains how Kalita left the Roda Kira Gang.
