Peki showing her true strength against Adelgund.

Peki finally uses her original fighting style to get the upper hand against Adelgund, releasing years of pent-up resentment against her. However, that resentment leads to a tragedy at the end of the match that will get worse.

  • Blinded by Rage: Peki had the upper hand against Adelgund thanks to knowing Adelgund's movements, and having greater mobility and sense of strategy. The moment she switches to Unstoppable Rage to give a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown to Adelgund, she leaves herself open to defeat.
  • Boxing Battler: Befitting her "Punching" nickname, Peki uses a boxing fighting style when fighting. This includes guarding, powerful punches, and lightning fast footwork.
  • Broken Pedestal: Adelgund loses all of her fans when she breaks Peki's arm and then tortures her by breaking both of her legs.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Despite their one-sided favoritism, the fans do have limits to what they can allow. They immediately turn against Adelgund when she starts brutalizing Peki's body, especially because they started recovering their respect for Peki as the fight was progressing.
  • Finishing Stomp: Adelgund breaks both of Peki's legs by stomping on them one at a time.
  • Kick the Dog: Adelgund breaking Peki's limbs is considered to be pointless cruelty In-Universe by everyone, especially her breaking the penguin's legs when Peki couldn't fight anymore.
  • The Last Straw: Peki put up with Adelgund's selfishness for years because of increased apathy and the promise that they were going to be a Face team again. However, watching Adelgund having sex with a stripper behind Peki's back, and then make that stripper the newest member of her cheering squad, made Peki realize how little Adelgund truly cared about her.
  • Megaton Punch: Peki has enough punching strength to send Adelgund flying into the air.
  • Never My Fault: Adelgund is trying to deflect her blame in the incidents that turned Peki away from her. She tries to pretend that she was seduced by the latest member of the Exe-Cutie-Ves, ignoring the fact that she was watching her at the strip club, did nothing to stop her advances, and had her join her cheering club after that.
  • No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: After years of Adelgund ignoring her suffering and then finding her being unfaithful to her, Peki starts giving her a beating full of resentment and rage. This backfires on her as she forgot Adelgund's durability and let herself open to get her arm broken.
  • Sickening "Crunch!": There is a loud sound effect when Adelgund breaks Peki's arm and then steps on each of her legs.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: Adelgund gets called out a couple of times in this chapter.
    • Peki calls her out for cheating on Peki with a stripper and then asking that stripper to become the newest member of the Exe-Cutie-Ves. Adelgund coming out with a lame excuse only pisses Peki off more.
    • The fans call out Adelgund for brutalizing Peki, and turn against her for the unnecessary cruelty she displayed.
  • Woman Scorned: Peki and Adelgund show this for each other. Deconstructed, as this causes both of them to make mistakes that affect them in the long term.
    • Peki is so angry, not only for Adelgund cheating on her with a stripper, but at the possibility that she cheated on her with all of the members of the Exe-Cutie-Ves that she is Blinded by Rage and gives her a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown at the cost of forgetting that Adelgund has Super-Strength that she uses to break her arm.
    • Adelgund is heartbroken by Peki's betrayal that she resorts to break her arm to avoid losing the match. She then crushes both of her legs when Nyarai awakens to tag her in simply because she didn't like her former lover/partner to tag with someone else. It causes her to be a Broken Pedestal to the audience.
