Recap / Full House S 4 E 25 Rock The Cradle

Go To

"Rock the Cradle" is the last episode in the fourth season of Full House.

Becky learns that she's pregnant and tries to tell Jesse the good news.

This episode contains examples of:

  • Hollywood Board Games: The Tanner family playing Pictionary is how Becky, after chickening out more than once, decides to tell Jesse she's pregnant. He fails several times to properly guess the words without the others' help, and still doesn't get it until Becky has to shout the answer to him.
  • Hypocritical Humor: Rebecca tries to tell the Tanner family (sans Jesse) that she has yet to inform Jesse about her pregnancy right as Jesse enters the room, which prompts her to make him leave.
Jesse: Are you trying to get rid of me?
Becky: Of course not, now beat it!
  • Pillow Pregnancy: Toyed with. Rebecca is already pregnant when she puts a pillow under her pajamas.
Jesse: Whoa! This baby thing happened a lot faster than I thought!
Becky: Honey, will you still love me when I look like this?
Jesse: 'Course. It'll be great, too, 'cause I'll have a place to set my popcorn when we watch TV.
  • Season Finale: For Season 4.
  • Two Scenes, One Dialogue: Becky originally planned to tell Jesse she was pregnant, but chickens out when Jesse excitedly tells her his band is going to be on tour for the summer. As such, the family thinks he's talking about the impending birth of his first child when Jesse gushes about going on tour with his band, like talking about his "natural raw talent" and the fact that he's practiced for years in basements and garages. Hilarity Ensues.
