Three generations of Cranes clash in the great outdoors when Frasier's 13-year-old son visits. Daphen and Niles attempt to play matchmaker for Roz.
Tropes:
- Camping Episode: Frasier drags Freddie and Martin out to a cabin in the woods so the three of them can bond.
- Escape Call: Shortly after arriving for his date with Roz, Jack calls his hospital to make sure he's not buzzed only to find out they need him to come in immediately. Niles assumes it was a genuine call, but Roz takes it as a sign he was trying to get out of the date.Roz: Oh yeah, the whole fake page routine!
Niles: No, no, no, not even, he actually called in. (pauses as he realises what actually happened) - First Kiss: Freddie has his with a girl he meets while camping. He and Frasier finally start to bond over it when he asks Frasier not to tell his mother because she'll bother him with questions.
- The Matchmaker: Daphne attempts to set Roz up with a handsome doctor that Niles knows. Unfortunately the guy ditches her before their date. Niles tries to fill in by calling another "doctor", but Daphne recognises him as "Ted, the moron from the deli". She tells Niles to get rid of him, only for Roz to be disappointed again as she'd started to hit it off with him.
