After Roz injures herself and is aided by Bulldog, the latter offers her a position as his producer, which causes Frasier to suspect him trying to seduce her, but this results in his friendship with Roz being tested.
Tropes:
- Both Sides Have a Point: Frasier and Roz's falling out had them both make very good points. Frasier has expertise in reading social cues while Roz is right about how he acts so egotistical and it's why people don't listen to him very often.
- Failed Attempt at Drama: When Frasier self-righteously accuses Bulldog of manipulating Roz, it soon results in Roz severing ties with him and leaving his penthouse while using crutches since she was still injured at the time. Just as she reaches the door, she realizes she forgot her purse and goes back to retrieve it.
- Honor Before Reason: As much as Frasier was proven right in the end, him being too arrogant to at least consider the fact that he was wrong about Bulldog hurts his show's ratings.
- I Warned You: At the end, Frasier shows up at Roz's door with a bunch of flowers, having clearly decided to bite the bullet and grovel his way back into her good books... just in time to see her kicking Bulldog out of her apartment wearing nothing in his underwear after he tried to seduce her, proving him completely right:Frasier: [Quietly triumphant] I'm listening.
- Jerkass Has a Point: While he was superior and high-handed about it, Frasier turns out to be entirely on the mark about what was really motivating Bulldog.
- Kinky Cuffs: When Bulldog is setting up to seduce Roz he pulls a pair of handcuffs out of his bag, considers them for a second but decides it's too early to introduce them and puts them away again.
- Properly Paranoid: While he was acting like a jackass about it, Frasier ended up being correct that Bulldog wanted Roz to get in his pants.
- Ready for Lovemaking: Roz discovers that Frasier was right about Bulldog trying to seduce her when she comes back from the kitchen and finds him lying on her bed in his underwear.
