Recap / Fillmore Nappers Never Sleep

Go To

  • Alliterative Name: Biana Bully.
  • Bland-Name Product: “Happy Cathead” is clearly based on Hello Kitty. Hilariously, the Tamagotchi expy, which was stolen/petnapped that started the episode, isn't even given that, with Principal Folsom simply calling it a "Yamahootchi-watchamacallit"
  • Bumbling Dad: Mr. Almaden means well, but he comes off as clueless.
  • Central Theme: Friendship and how easy it can be to gain or lose friends. Everett loses his virtual friend "Duappy" and becomes close with Lorraine while Bianca lost Lorraine and "gained" Duappy. The subplot even has Fillmore and Ingrid pondering their own friendship and if they've spent enough time together.
  • Disappeared Dad: Everett is raised by a single mother.
  • Foreign Culture Fetish: An unnamed classmate Fillmore and Ingrid go to question states she and her friends have an interest in Spanish-speaking cultures though the sombrero and serape she’s wearing would narrow it down to Mexico.
  • Girl Next Door: Lorraine is this for Everett, but it takes a few years for them to become friends.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Bianca's motive for stealing Duappy.
  • Hollywood Mid-Life Crisis: It would seem that Lorraine is having an adolescent-life crisis and that’s why she quit all her old clubs and gave up Happy Cathead.
  • Male Gaze: Folsom gets a side view that shows that her chest extends well past her nose.
  • Missing Mom: Lorraine is raised by her dad.
  • Redhead In Green: Lorraine is redheaded and dresses in green.
