As Round Two begins, Mercury is teleported to a hallway in the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. He's a little spooked about being teleported. Caren Hortensia speaks to him telepathically and advises him to let the others fight each other and then finish them off when they are weakened. Mercury's wish is to send someone to kill his father once and for all.

Edmond Dantes approaches and introduces himself with his long and ridiculous titles. Caren warns Mercury that despite his ego, he is powerful. Edmund starts firing blasts of dark flames and Mercury dodges and attempts to escape. Mercury manages to get a good hit in, but Edmund taunts him by calling him the guy who keeps breaking his legs. They lunge and crash forearms against each other.

Weiss wanders the halls and gets attacked by two doves, but she slashes them, causing them to revert to hair. Illya walks up wearing a purple winter coat and hat and a white fur scarf. After they introduce themselves, Illya pulls out four strands of hair and turns them into doves, calling this technique "Knights of Stork", which attack. Weiss is shocked when they fire laser beams out of their mouths, but she freezes one dove and blocks the others with a Glyph. Semiramis telepathically tells her to be proud that her Glyphs have gotten stronger, but Weiss is upset that Illya is able to summon while she can't. Though she wouldn't want to use Illya's technique as she would lose her hair. Semiramis tells her to focus as the Glyph cracks and she almost gets impaled. Illya reveals she can turn her doves into flying swords and daggers and has them attack. Weiss fends them off, then creates several ice pillars as cover to try to attack Illya, but a dagger she missed slashes her across the back. Semiramis offers to heal her with a Command Spell, but she says to save it and uses a Glyph to stop the bleeding.

Illya tells her she can't win, then looks at a corner and tells Ushiwakamaru that she knows she is hiding and to come out. Annoyed, Ushi comes out and draws her sword before trying to attack Illya, but she uses Knights of Stork to block it. Weiss tells Ushi they should work together to beat her and she agrees. Weiss throws Myrtenaster, but Illya dodges it and it embeds into the floor. Weiss and Ushi retreat to the end of the hall when Semiramis reveals Illya's constructs cannot stray far from their master. Weiss creates a yellow Glyph to empower Ushi and tells her to finish her off. Ushi chants, "Dan no Ura. Jumping the Eight Boats." She uses the Flash Step several times to take out the Knights of Stork. Realizing she is getting closer, Illya tries to run, but finds her feet frozen in ice. She turns around and finds the ice had traveled from Myrtenaster to her. She realizes Weiss had planned this all along and curses her just as Ushi reaches her and slashes her across the chest. Weiss tells her to surrender, but Illya laughs as the wound heals, then she creates an explosion and escapes through a hole in the floor.

As Weiss picks up her sword, Semiramis suggests she chase Illya before she can recover. Ushi bolted during the explosion. Weiss says she owes Ushi for helping her, so she'll take her on later and focus on Illya. She jumps into the hole. From her hiding place, Ushi says she doesn't have a wish and all she wants is for her brother Mercury to win, but she'll have to find him first.

Mercury is taking a beating from Edmund and Caren mocks him or gives him useless advice like "wait for an opening". Edmund chants, "Enfer Chateau d'If!" Mercury is horrified when Edmund multiplies himself, then all the copies blast him at the same time. As the copies vanish and the smoke clears, Mercury is gone, but Kintoki tells Edmund that Mercury has not been eliminated yet.

Edmund sees Mercury's leg sticking out of rubble and confidently attempts to pull him out, but it turns out to be just his leg. Mercury jumps on him from behind and traps him in a full nelson. Edmund asks how he survived his attack, and it is revealed Caren used a Command Spell to increase his defense. Caren asks what his next move is. Mercury calls out to Gilgamesh, telling him to face him if he is not a coward. Mercury then lets go of Edmund and quickly escapes the room with a blast of air from his remaining leg. Before Edmund can get his bearings, Gilgamesh enters and turns him into a pincushion with Gate of Babylon, eliminating him. Gilgamesh turns to look for Mercury to pay him back for that insult, but Pyrrha enters, determined to face him. Gil laughs as they prepare for a rematch.
