Tropes:

  • 11th-Hour Ranger: Sakata Kintoki was summoned by the Demonic Fog thanks to Nikola Tesla's electricity and Tamamo-no-Mae shows up in London hoping for a vacation. Both of them take him on after hearing Tesla's plans of destroying Humanity via the Fog, giving time for the protagonists to catch up with Tesla.
  • Adapted Out: In the Arcade version, this is the chapter where we begin to see something is up: there is no brief confrontation with the King of Mages, simply a shadowy cloaked figure floating in front of Big Ben, who vanishes without a word.
  • Anyone Can Die: With the exception of Jekyll, Frankenstein (who is not a Servant in this singularity), the MC, Mash, and Mordred, every single one of your allies are killed by the end.
  • Debut Queue: Nikola Tesla and Altria Pendragon's Lancer Alter version are available to summon after story completion.
  • Fog of Doom: Virtually all of London is covered by a dangerous, toxic mist that is lethal to anyone who isn't a servant.
  • Forced into Evil: Charles Babbage and Nikola Tesla never wanted to destroy humanity, but had no choice as they were forced by Zolgen and Solomon to create and activate the Demonic Fog. They thank the protagonist's group for stopping them after being defeated.
  • Foreshadowing: Dr. Romani vehemently denies that Solomon is the entity behind everything, even muttering "Impossible" when the Big Bad himself shows up. This shows us that Romani knows more than what is going on.
  • Mr. Exposition: Andersen takes on the role, even manages to figure out the nature of Solomon before he's killed.
  • One-Letter Name: The protagonists find out that the project leaders for the Demonic Fog are named "P", "B", and "M". They are Paracelcius, Babbage, and Makiri Zolgen respectively.
  • Serial Killer: The most famous one is featured here, Jack the Ripper him (actually her)self.
  • Superpowered Evil Side: Mr. Hyde for Jekyll and the story support version is locked to Hyde as he has the superhuman capabilities to fight off enemies.
  • Wham Episode: The very last part of this Singularity is one. So, you've defeated both Tesla and Lancer Alter Altria. The Demon Pillar is down, so end of chapter, right? Nope, it turns out the Big Bad is Solomon himself! Commanding the strength of several Demon Pillars, he wipes out nearly every Servant featured in the chapter!
