Tropes:

  • Ascended Extra: Helena gets an attack bonus in the event but never appears during the story with only Telsa and Edison referencing that they got help from her. She does appear in the third round of Oda Bakufu Support Quests as an enemy.
  • Call-Back: Once again Emiya, Cu and Medea are summoned and fused with historical Japanese figures like in GudaGuda Honnouji with the Cu and Medea being pretty annoyed by it.
  • The Cameo: Medusa shows up once early on as a waitress referencing the Gudaguda Poster Girl CE and never shows up again. To true Guda Guda fashion, Medusa breaks the fourth wall by being glad she's done with her cameo.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: Okita and Nobunaga both want the protagonist to be on their side and are pretty upset if the protagonist chooses the other side.
  • Debut Queue: Chacha debuts as the event's free Servant, while Hijikata debuts as a limited SSR.
  • Determinator: Hijikata simply cannot accept that the Shinsengumi's time has passed despite the evidence to contrary. Thus why after Nobukatsu and Andras are defeated, Hijikata stands against Chaldea to restore the Shinsengumi despite Okita's pleas.
  • Forced into Evil: Emiya, Cu and Medea aren't comfortable that Nobukatsu is planning on sacrificing Chacha to a Demon Pillar but as his servants they can't rebel against him.
  • I Am the Noun: Hijikata declares he is the Shinsengumi which essentially crushes Okita's hopes of talking him to stand down.
  • Identity Impersonator: During the twilight years of the Tokugawa Shogunate, Nobukatsu is summoned and pretends to be Nobunaga to take over Japan. Nobunaga isn't too pleased when she finds out.
  • Living MacGuffin: Andras and Nobukatsu want to sacrifice Chacha to revive Andras.
  • Love Makes You Evil: Nobukatsu is working with Andras to create a world where he thinks Nobunaga can be free from people that discriminate against her because of her gender and from the neverending wars.
  • Not in This for Your Revolution: Mysterious Heroine X doesn't care that she's Nobukatsu's servant and is only interested in killing Okita
  • Punch-Clock Villain: Mysterious Heroine X Alter is only on Nobukatsu's side because he's giving her Japanese sweets but never does anything villainous.
  • Your Princess Is in Another Castle!: The event's main quest seems to be over once Nobukatsu and Andras are defeated, only for Hijikata to suddenly betray the team, determined to use Andras' power to restore the Shinsengumi, triggering one last battle.
