Tropes:
- An Aesop: Before reaching the tea house, Sakata Kintoki can smell alcohol in the air and suspects Shuten-douji is involved. Being summoned as a Rider, complete with biker gear and a motorcycle, Kintoki won't touch the stuff, and the conversation turns to a seemingly out of nowhere lesson on drinking and driving.
- Berserk Button: Fuuma has three: not taking good care of your weaponry, subordinates attacking delivery men, and saying the Fumma Clan isn’t the greatest. Sasaki, accidentally pushed the third one when he stated that the Fuuma clan was only below two others.
- Debut Queue: Sakata Kintoki (Rider), Kotaro Fuuma, and Minamoto no Raikou all make their debut for this event.
- Final Boss: Minamoto no Raikou's alternate personality/oni side, Ushi Gozen, serves as this for the event, being the mastermind behind the island's creation.
- Not Me This Time: When the party runs into Shuten-douji and Ibaraki-douji, they accuse them of being responsible since they were responsible for the last incident involving onis. They both deny it as they were merely summoned here with the island's creation.
- Promoted to Playable: Ibaraki Douji, having been previously only a boss in Rashoumon.
- Wolverine Publicity: Since it's the most popular sidekick in the Momatoro legend, several Servants wind up fighting over who gets to be the "dog" of the group with no one really caring who gets to be the monkey or pheasant.
