A singularity appears in the old city of Kyoto, where demonic fog lethal to both humans and Servants permeates the city. The protagonist and Mash, accompanied by famed Japanese folktale hero Sakata Kintoki, must defeat the gate's guardian of Kyoto, Ibaraki-douji to find the grail spewing this poisonous fog.
