What If The Incredibles Got Older?

This fanscription focuses on alternate version of Incredibles 2, following the superhero family place years after the first film.

This Fanscription contains examples of:

  • Adaptational Villainy: Thanks to being a Composite Character with the Big Bad, Winston Deavor is the Screenslaver who wants to get Supers outlawed. However, this version of Screenslaver is far more sinister to the original who was a Well-Intentioned Extremist.
  • Bait-and-Switch: After Bob reveals to his daughter about an old flame he had, Violet asks what happened to her. When Bob recalls Violet about their battle with Jilted Lover, Violet fears the worst until Bob immediately corrects her that Bob's ex became the super villainess's lawyer.
  • Bat Signal: Played for Laughs. L.A.M.E are alerted to a spotlight that has one of their insignias. They have to guess which one because it is too far to see.
  • Bittersweet Ending: Violet leaves her family to attend college while the other Parrs watch on with sadness. Then, an explosion occurs and Violet reverses the car back, with her mask already on.
    Violet: That doesn't mean I can't visit.
  • Can't Spit It Out: Violet wants to break up with Tony due to choosing different colleges but she doesn't know how to tell him.
  • Explain, Explain... Oh, Crap!: When Screenslaver realizes that the Incredibles are distracting him from noticing their ambush.
  • Good Counterpart: L.A.M.E (League of Angsty Magnificent Epicness) are a team comprised of normal people much like Syndrome and by a larger extent, Screenslaver. However, the reason they became heroes is out of genuine desire to protect people when they believed the Supers went rogue. At the end, they form a camaraderie with their super-powered counterparts.
  • I Work Alone: Both Jack Jack and Dash went through the same phase their father had in the first film because they felt restricted when being with their family. But also like Bob, they realized working as a team isn't that bad.
  • Mundane Utility: Apparently Frozone has a history of using his powers to rig hockey games.
  • Noodle Incident: Apparently, Frozone rigged hockey games to which Bob defends him, saying there is no proof.
  • Not-So-Well-Intentioned Extremist: Winston's reason for becoming the Screenslaver is because the world has forgotten the dangers Supers posed. However, Mr. Incredible points out that because he brainwashed Supers to attack people, Winston is far more of a threat to humanity than the race he saw as beneath him.
  • Power Incontinence: While Jack Jack has a vast array of powers, he has little control over them and it only gets worse when they're growing.
  • Twitchy Eye: A side effect of Screenslaver's brainwashing.
