Tropes:

  • Artificial Limbs: As pointed out by Yo, Chum Chum's left leg is actually a prosthetic, and is connected to him by a spring.
  • Big Ball of Violence: Fanboy and Chum Chum get into one with Yo and Lupe near the end.
  • Bottle Episode: The entire episode is set outdoors, at a single curb.
  • Chekhov's Gun: Yo uses one of Fanboy's Man-Arctica comics to prove he isn't a baby. It works.
  • Cold Turkeys Are Everywhere: To prove to the customers Fanboy is not a baby, she offers him a Man-Arctica comic, causing him to fidget.
Chum Chum: Don't do it, Fanboy! You already have twelve of those at —
    Fanboy: MAN-ARCTICA!!!
(Instantly ditches his disguise and begins reading)
    Chum Chum: ...home.
  • Cuteness Proximity: Yo and Lupe's entire method of gaining customers at their lemonade stand is to use their girlish charm. When Fanboy retaliates by disguising himself as a baby, the customers immediately abandon the stand in favor of adoring him instead.
  • Evil Laugh: Fanboy gets one when planning to steal Yo and Lupe's customers. Dollarnator tries to do one, but isn't good at it.
  • Irony: The girls are giving lemonade to their customers, yet it tastes horrible; they use their cuteness to force them into buying it.
  • Impostor-Exposing Test: To prove Fanboy is not a baby, Yo offers him a Man-Arctica comic, which he immediately falls for.
  • Jerkass Ball: Yo and Lupe's role in this episode is much more antagonistic.
  • Mobile-Suit Human: Lupe is revealed to be a robo-droid controlled by a much smaller clone of herself.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Yo's crush on Chum Chum is not brought up once.
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: Fanboy disguises himself as a baby so he and Chum Chum can gather more customers at their lemonade stand than Yo and Lupe. Only Yo and Lupe can see through his disguise, which is nothing more than a bonnet and a pacifier.
  • Please Keep Your Hat On: Yo is apparently revealed to have alopecia and is bald, and her Girlish Pigtails are actually a wig to hide it.
  • Puppy-Dog Eyes: Yo has these briefly as Fanboy spies on them. Chum Chum gets these himself as Fanboy and Dollarnator plan something, and again while holding Fanboy as a baby.
  • Schmuck Bait: To prove Fanboy is just a baby in disguise, she offers him a Man-Arctica comic. He fidgets, Chum Chum tries to get him to resist, but he quickly falls for it, and the duplicity is revealed.
  • Skyward Scream: Fanboy does one while complaining no customers have arrived.
  • Sound-Effect Bleep: The spilling of coins blocks out the boys' speech, probably to hide the fact they're cursing.
  • Time-Passes Montage: Two in succession as the boys wait for customers. One lasts over four hours, while the second lasts an entire year.
