Go To

Peter's nonstop sweating becomes a liability at his company, so his boss tells him to work from home, and, Peter being Peter, turns his home into an office. Meanwhile, Stewie and Chris cause thousands of dollars in damage to an electronics store and create a Kickstarter to raise the money.

Tropes:

  • Disproportionate Retribution: After Lois kisses Peter (who are married mind you) on the cheek in the morning, Peter goes to HR, and makes a dramatic show about it. Later, when the representative puts a hand over his to try and comfort him, he reports her to "Super" HR. It's suggested that he's only doing this to extort some demands out of the "company".
  • Exceeded the Goal: Brian, Chris and Stewie's plan to scam money from Kickstarter via a fake movie goes too well. They only wanted $3000, but thanks to a misfire via a call placed to the entire city of New York and a video by Stewie, they've raised $1,500,000 and really do have to make the film.
  • The Food Poisoning Incident: In exchange for letting his HR complaint go, Peter demands they bring back a particular kind of Lays chip that causes explosive diarrhea. It then cuts to him on the toilet, and him actually being blasted through the ceiling into a board meeting.
  • Gone Horribly Right: Needing money to pay for the $3000 in damages they caused, Chris and Stewie decide to raise the money they need through Kickstarter. They do this by announcing that the money is for a film they plan to make, not expecting people to give them much. Unfortunately, they end up raising so much money that they now have to make the film for real, when neither of them know how to.
  • Idiot Ball: Brian, Chris and Stewie miraculously manage to make a film (revolved around a hockey playing dog), only to be booed within seconds of it starting. Apparently they thought it was a good idea to make the dog protagonist a racist.
  • Obsessive Hobby Episode: A rather odd example. Peter is sent to work from home after his sweating gets out of hand, and he proceeds to remake his entire home as a work office, acting out various activities he thinks an office worker does. It gets the point where after his own wife kisses him good morning, he goes to HR.
  • Under Strange Management: After more success than expected on a Kickstarter campaign, Chris (a teenager), Brian (a talking dog), and Stewie (a baby) find themselves having to make a movie. While they're somehow able to complete the film, it flops hard and they get booed only seconds after it starts.
