- Brian gets a "Beaglemania" shirt and even records The Bite Album, which parodies The White Album and "Revolution 9" by The Beatles.
- The Scrappy: In-Universe. Peter's character, Pawtucket Pat, is widely hated for not being as cool as Hops.
- Urban Legends: Peter claims Angela died after going swimming shortly after eating. In reality, there is no increased danger of drowning when going swimming shortly after food.
