• Actor Allusion: In a cutaway, Peter gets hit in the throat and his voice changes to Stewie's, which he acknowledges "sounds weird."
• Frozen Body Fluids: Peter vomits after drinking beer to experience a better buzz on Mt. Everest's altitude, only for it to freeze in his mouth into one solid piece.
  Peter: Hey Brian, you want a pukesicle?
  Brian: I would love a pukesicle. (starts licking it frequently after Peter passes it to him)
• Gambler Groupies: During an Imagine Spot, Stewie has them in the form of two Chorus Girls accompanying him on a Vegas gambling trip.
• I'm a Humanitarian: Peter and his family eat Ben's corpse. Justified, as they would have ran out of energy and froze to death if they hadn’t done so.
• Informed Poverty: The Griffins are typically portrayed as being lower middle class; this episode even sees the Fishmans mock Lois and Peter for their lifestyle and for Peter’s low-paying job. Yet they’re able to fly to Nepal and climb Mount Everest without expenses being discussed once. For those who don’t know, it costs tens of thousands of dollars for even a single person to climb Mount Everest, never mind a family of 6 (if y'all count the dog).
• Lack of Empathy: Peter casually tells the Fishmans that he and his family ate his son's corpse as their helicopter takes off.
• Take That!: To the Rat Pack:
  Stewie: Seems kinda racist, doesn't it?
  Brian: No, no, 'cause, 'cause Sammy's in on it
  Stewie: Ok? *Beat* But he's still carrying the clubs.
• Took a Level in Jerkass: Lois' old boyfriend. In his first appearance, he seemed so nice but, in this appearance, he's smug as all hell, even mocking with his tone.
