Airdate: June 26th of 2005
The episode sees Brian becoming a contestant on The Bachelorette and falling in love with the bachelorette, only to be let down by her ignoring him off–camera. Meanwhile, Chris discovers his pimple, "Doug," can talk, and the pair cause mischief across the city.
This episode contains examples of:
- Burning Bag of Poop: Chris' pimple goads him into pulling this prank on the Swansons. Joe answers the door, but since he's in a wheelchair, he has to "stamp" the fire out by grabbing his legs and slamming them onto the bag.
- Joe: Oh good lord! *puts the fire out, then smells his shoe* Is that... doody?!
- Eyebrow Waggle: After Chris takes his shirt off and begins dancing around, John Herbert appears in the window standing on a ladder. The view cuts to over his shoulder, and he turns to the viewer and does a slow waggle before turning back to ogle Chris. He then falls off the ladder.
- Instant Sedation: When Brooke tastes Quagmire's roofie, she's out within seconds.
- Passing Judgment: Not on the street per se, but in the episode Cleveland has an audition for The Bachelorette and begins getting nervous, so Peter tries to calm Cleveland down. It escalates quickly, with Peter ripping off Cleveland's clothes and his own clothes and holding Cleveland in his chair. Then the executives walk through the door to call in Cleveland.
- Running Gag: Stewie mentioning Brian's novel, a running gag which would continue in future episodes.
- Shout-Out:
- Herbert using a ladder to spy on Chris spoofs a similar scene from Animal House.
- Doug's negative influence and even his voice reference Little Shop of Horrors.
- Slipping a Mickey: Quagmire does this to Brooke on their date.
