Short Summary
Fairy Tail forms an alliance with other official guilds to take down a dark guild. Team Natsu is ordered to team up with fellow guilds, Lamia Scale, Blue Pegasus, and Cait Shelter in order to stop a group known as Oración Seis from activating a powerful ancient weapon known as Nirvana.Main Summary
Oracion Seis Arc has the following tropes:
- All for Nothing: This is a big factor why the Heartfilia Konzern was bought out by the Junelle Corporation. Jude spent a year trying to get Lucy back to help his family business to the point of hiring Phantom Lord to retrieve her, only for it to all go to waste when Lucy breaks off his Arranged Marriage proposal for inadvertently causing the guild war with Fairy Tail and Phantom Lord.
- All Men Are Perverts: The guys admire Impersonator Lucy's breasts when she strips.
- The Atoner: Jellal for his actions in the Tower of Heaven arc after he regains his memories.
- Attack Its Weak Point: The legs on the Nirvana which on powered by lacrima. However they have to be taken out all at the same time.
- Back from the Dead: Jellal whom Wendy revives.
- Bad Boss: Brain and Zero attack their own teammates when they're down.
- Big Bad: Brain / Zero.
- Big Bad Wannabe: Midnight thinks he's more powerful than the rest of his team and sees himself as the strongest wizard who ever lives. He loses badly to Erza.
- Bittersweet Ending: Brain's plan is thwarted, Nirvana is destroyed, Jude and Lucy have reconciled, and Wendy and Carla join Fairy Tail. However, Hoteye and Jellal are arrested and imprisoned for their crimes and Cait Shelter is revealed to never have truly existed.
- Cat Girl: Literally with Carla.
- Companion Cube: Brain's cane is actually alive.
- Cool Airship: The Christina, Blue Pegasus's airship.

- Distracted by the Sexy: The guys take interest in Gemini Lucy when she takes off her top. Lucy's not amused.
- Empowered Badass Normal: Lucy is briefly powered to the max in order to defeat Angel.
- Face–Heel Turn: Sherry while under Nirvana's control. She snaps out of it upon seeing Lyon is still alive.
- Get A Hold Of Yourself Man: Carla to the whole Light Team after Erza is poisoned.
- Gonk: Ichiya and Hoteye.
- Greater-Scope Villain: Hades is informed by Ultear of what's going on, but he doesn't interfere with Brain's plans.
- Heel–Face Turn: Angel's spirits after she's defeated and Hoteye.
- High-Altitude Battle: Natsu and Cobra's battle.
- High-Speed Battle: Gray briefly fights Racer on motorcycles.
- Hoist by His Own Petard:
- Angel in trying to use Gemini to finish off Lucy. However one of their powers is to be able to read human hearts and they can't bring themselves to kill Lucy after reading hers. Caelum likewise prevents Angel from preforming a killing blow by purposely curving a beam shot around Lucy when Angel fires at her.
- Cobra's Enhanced Hearing is turned against him after Natsu let's out a dragon's roar that stuns him.
- Laser-Guided Amnesia: Jellal after the events of the Tower of Heaven Arc. He initially claims that he can only remember Erza's name, but he later remembers Natsu's name, and remembers giving the former her surname as he's being arrested. Shortly before said arrest, he admitted that he was afraid of his entire memory returning because of the past crimes he'd been accused of.
- Love Makes You Evil: When Sherry believes Lyon dies she turns to the dark side.
- Non-Indicative Name: In Buddhism, triumphing over overpowering emotions is one of the things that leads to Nirvana, a blissful state of heavenly tranquility. The spell "Nirvana" does the exact opposite, and has more in common with antithetical terms like "samsara" or "dukkha". Eventually it's explained that the spell was intended to create world peace, but backfired quite badly.
- Omnicidal Maniac: Zero and Midnight want to use Nirvana to kill people instead of conquer them.
- Percussive Shutdown: The original plan for disabling Nirvana was to use the magical control panel on top. When this ends up not being viable, they end up breaking its legs instead.
- Poisonous Person: Cobra, whose magic makes him an artificial Poison Dragon Slayer.
- Ship Tease: Erza and Jellal, and Happy and Carla.
- Speed Blitz: Racer. In reality, it's actually Time Stands Still.
- Spider Tank: Nirvana's true form is essentially the fantasy version of this trope, being a giant six-legged magical construct/city of stone.
- Superpowered Evil Side: A villainous example. Brain has another personality named Zero who is much more ruthless and enjoys bringing pain to others.
- Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: Since Lucy broke off Jude's Arranged Marriage proposal, the latter's company is bought out by the Junelle Corporation. When a now-bankrupt Jude sees Lucy and asks her to loan him some money, she refuses, not wanting anything more to do with him. Considering what happened when Jude inadvertently led Phantom Lord to start the guild war with Fairy Tail, it's completely understandable.
- Weapon of Mass Destruction: Nirvana, which has the power to change the alignment in people (i.e: good to bad and bad to good) though it also has a cannon built into it as well.
- Take Me Instead: Lucy offers her own life in exchange for Aries's freedom.
- Taking You with Me: Racer tries this on Lyon after he's beaten. It doesn't work. The anime even adds that Lyon managed to save them both.
- Tomato Surprise: Cait Shelter is really an illusion made for the sake of watching over Wendy. All of its members are the spirits of a tribe that created the Nirvana and stayed on the mortal plane until the weapon was destroyed. Once the deed was done, they finally pass on but not before giving Wendy a tearful goodbye. There's also a minor one in that Hoteye is Wally's (from Tower of Heaven Arc) brother.
- True Final Boss: Zero
- You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: Brain to Cobra after his fight with Natsu. The strange thing is he didn't actually lose and was in fact about to finish Natsu off before Brain stopped him.
- Weaksauce Weakness: Racer's power has a short range. If anything is not within his proximity then his true power is revealed and he's easy pickings for any long range attack.
- Worf Had the Flu:
- Jellal had drained off most of his magic with his Self Destruct seal, leaving him substantially weaker than he was at the Tower of Heaven.
- The only reason the Rune Knights weren't flattened entirely by Natsu, Gray, Jura, Lucy, and Ichiya was due to all of them being exausted from battling the Oracion Seis thoughout the night and previous day
