The FBI team investigates a drug deal gone bad after the body of a college student is found. Also, Detective Hailey Upton temporarily joins the team and finds her usual investigative methods clash with the Bureau’s more buttoned-up environment.

- Asshole Victim: Lucas Reed. His selfish actions led to the murder of his roommate Aman Patel and endangered his girlfriend Harper Quinlan. He is also an abusive boyfriend to Harper whom he was willing to abandon to her fate to save his own life. No tears will be shed for him when he is cornered and shot dead by the FBI while trying to shoot his way out.
- Big Damn Heroes: With Harper's help, the FBI are able to rescue her father and reunite them while also arresting the Latin Players.
- Continuity Cameo / Crossover Cameo: Detective Hailey Upton from Chicago P.D. temporarily joins the FBI to fill in for Maggie as OA's partner.
- Dirty Coward: Lucas refuses to help his girlfriend Harper save her father and opts to abandon her to save his own life from the Latin Players. He ends up getting shot dead by the FBI while trying to shoot his way out.
- Love Martyr: Harper's continued defense of her boyfriend Lucas as a "good guy" while under interrogation by the FBI tips Hailey off that Harper is actually a victim of Domestic Abuse from Lucas.
- Roommate Drama: One of Aman Patel's professors explained to the FBI that Aman did not like his roommate Lucas Reed because he partied too much. Unfortunately, being Lucas' roommate meant that Aman ended up getting tortured and murdered by the Latin Players in a desperate attempt to locate Lucas for killing one of their lieutenants and stealing their drugs.
- Too Dumb to Live: Lucas Reed murdered and ripped off a lieutenant of the Latin Players which earns him the gang's wrath. When cornered by the FBI in a public park, Lucas tries to shoot his way out but is shot dead by the FBI.
- We Have Your Father: The Latin Players kidnapped and threatened to kill Harper's father to get her to return the drugs that her boyfriend Lucas stole from them.
