Rangeland

After two agents from the Bureau of Land Management go missing while executing a land seizure warrant in Wyoming, the Fugitive Task Force heads west to track them down in an unwelcoming county; Hana receives a threat.


Tropes:

  • Ate His Gun: How Graham kills himself.
  • Blatant Lies: When Hana's trauma from Graham's suicide message causes her to lead Remy to a dead end while pursuing the fugitives, Kristin demands to know what is going on. Hana at first claims its nothing, but Kristin knows something is up and presses the former for the truth.
  • Driven to Suicide: Graham, the hebephile Hana catfished and exposed in "The Miseducation of Metcalf 2".
  • Hanging Around: Cole Dewey stands the Bureau of Land Management chief on a chair with a noose round his neck and tied to a rafter. After his Joker Jury finds the chief guilty, Cole kicks the chair out from under him and lets him slowly strangle.
  • He Knows Too Much: Cole Dewey strangles Charlie out of fear Charlie would turn in Cole's younger brother Will to the Feds.
  • Joker Jury: The team is called to Wyoming after two Bureau of Land Management agents go missing after trying to execute a cattle seizure warrant against a rancher who hasn't paid the land fees. The rancher, Will, killed the agents claiming that he thought were going for their guns. His brother Cole is involved in an anti-government rancher association and previously ran for Sheriff. The brothers kidnap the Bureau's chief and the Sheriff and put them in a mock trial before his association's members.

  • Shoot Him, He Has a Wallet!: Will Dewey shoots the Land Management agents because he thought they were pulling out their guns when they were just reaching for their repossession warrants.
  • Spiteful Suicide: Graham's last message to Hana.
