Obstruction
After a double murder takes place in a small town, the team goes after the vigilante who relies on internet sleuths to exact revenge on suspects in the name of justice. Also, Jess and Sarah's relationship continues to grow, but not everyone approves.

- Bound and Gagged: Claudia does this to a realtor.
- Broken-Window Warning: Bryan Castro and Eli Jacobs throw a brick through the window of a bar owned by Danny Rhodes' sister Cheryl. They are forced to clean it up and pay for it afterwards by Bryan's father.
- Corrupt Politician: Mayor Castro was responsible for covering up the events of a rape and murder case when he finds out that his son Bryan is said rapist/killer. He's arrested by the town's sheriff deputies near the ending.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Claudia suffered a miscarriage and a student she was enamoured with was murdered.
- Forced to Watch: The killer made Derek watch his girlfriend being raped. Claudia tied Danny Rhodes and he was forced to witness Claudia strangle the latter's girlfriend.
- Hostage Situation: Claudia holds Brian and Tessa hostage in the diner where Anissa and Derek met.
- Mugged for Disguise: Claudia, off-screen, attacked a real estate agent for her clothes so she can impersonate the real estate to kill Jerome and Sydney (a couple she suspects of raping/killing Anissa Gomez and Derek Krohl).
- No Name Given: Sheriff Lanchester and Mayor Castro have no given first names. Same goes for the State Trooper who Claudia kills.
- Rape Is a Special Kind of Evil: Anissa was raped.
- Shameful Strip: Implied with the realtor whom Claudia took clothes from.
