- Even Evil Has Standards: Once Chris starts using swear words in his jokes, even Caruso isn't very impressed.
- Everyone Has Standards: Everybody at Chris' school is entertained by the dirty jokes Chris tells until he starts using swears.
- Irony: Chris' attempts at potty-mouthed comedy here isn't met with as much laughter as it would be later in his life.
- Orphaned Punchline: That's how the first batch of dirty jokes is censored, cutting the scene to Chris just finishing telling. - Precision F-Strike:
- Narrator!Chris: "NUMBER THREEEEEEEEEEE!"
- Rule of Seven: The "Seven Dirty Words".
