In Redwood Run, Percy challenges the Banzai Blasters for the Amulet while Ramsey tries to avoid Zora, who seems to have taken an interest in the necklace.
This episode contains examples of the following tropes:
- Bad Liar: When Giovanni proudly mentions his name in front of a police officer, he tries to back out. Poorly.Giovanni: It’s a stage name! I’m…holding it for a friend?
- Bar Brawl: The episode opens with one, in which Percy and Ramsey must fight off Bugsy and Arnold and their Banzai goons while Giovanni and the Bartender also participate. The fight goes off the rails fast.
- Fun with Subtitles: When Bugsy starts coughing up rubber ducks, the subtitles say (sound of coughing up rubber ducks) followed by "(You know. The standard SFX for coughing up rubber ducks.)"
- Only Sane Man: The bar fight firmly establishes Ramsey as this, his constant befuddlement at the colorful cast around him becomes a large source of comedy.
