The final episode of the Museum arc. The police arrive on the scene, Molly escapes Indus while Mera fights Sylvie, armed with the Amulet and ready to use it…
This episode contains examples of the following tropes:
- Animation Bump: At the episode’s climax, Molly and Giovanni defeating Mera is fully animated.
- Caught Monologuing: Molly uses Mera’s Motive Rant to take the opportunity to silence her hearing, allowing Giovanni to sneak up on her a hit her with a critical 13th strike.
- Lonely Rich Kid: The introduction of the episode is a flashback to Mera’s life as one, where because of her Epithet, she wasn’t allowed outside of her bedroom and could do nothing but stare out the window as the sounds of laughing children outside could be heard.
- Mood Whiplash: When Sylvie uses Nightmare Fuel on Mera, nothing appears to happen. Mera goes into a speech to show that the very thing that scares her the most is living the rest of her life with the pain of her Epithet, and just how desperate she is to use the Amulet and take an Epithet that can heal her. Then, there’s a quack.Sylvie: Also, ducks, apparently.Mera: They’re small, and fast, and they bite, okay?!
