  • As You Know: Aleister explains who Everett Rourke is when Taylor notices a painting of him and wonders who he is.
  • Chekhov's Volcano: Going to the restaurant has Sean noticing a regular glinting in the distance before seeing it’s an observatory. This comes back to them several chapters later.
  • Fancy Dinner: Raj, Craig, Sean and Michelle go to search the Tortuga, the Celestial’s 5-star restaurant. The prices aren’t shown, but Michelle describes the bills for the meals as expensive.
  • Flowers of Romance: The honeymoon suite has a trail of rose petals leading to the bed.
  • Nervous Wreck: Lila turns into this, pacing around outside and trying to think of a reason there’s nobody at the Celestial.
  • Noodle Incident: Raj’s dream where pancakes come to life and start singing a Beyonce song.
  • Let's Split Up, Gang!: Taylor is the one to come up with spreading out and searching the hotel for clues.
  • Only in It for the Money: Jake only joins the group looking for any sign of life cause he wants to get paid.
  • The Power of Friendship: Diego says this if Taylor takes the third option of having Sean and Jake calm down.
  • The Roaring '20s: The wedding that’s discovered is made to look like something out of the 1920s, even down to the champagne.
  • Say My Name: Craig, Raj and even Zahra chant Taylor’s name if they join them at the pool for a party.
  • Secret-Keeper: Taylor can choose to be this when Grace shows them the long tooth, though subverted when they decide to show everyone.
  • Sinister Silhouettes: Whether Taylor goes to the party or not, they encounter one of these in a large creature by themselves.
  • Slap Yourself Awake: If Taylor goes to the restaurant, Raj asks them to slap him awake, thinking it’s a dream he had. Taylor can do it or they have Craig do it, making Raj realize it’s not a dream.
  • Sleek High Rise Apartment: Taylor has two premium choices for a luxury suite, one being rainforest themed and the other being the honeymoon suite. Zahra also takes one of these as well.
  • Sudden Lack of Signal: One of the things Taylor notices is that there’s no cell phone reception. Craig asks if there aren’t any towers, while Aleister says he saw one while on the plane.
  • Surprise Party: Raj hopes that there’s a surprise party at the restaurant.
  • Take a Third Option: When Sean and Jake start arguing, siding with one or the other gets you +2 points with one and -1 with the other. Telling both of them to stop fighting gets you +1 to both.
  • Title Drop: Estela is the one who says the episode’s title when Taylor asks if what Estela found in her search matters.
