With the fifth lens in place, the Dragon Eye 2 unveils the apparent King of Dragons, and Fishlegs immediately knows what it is and where to find it.
Tropes:
- Bait-and-Switch: The five Dragon Class lenses all point to the endangered Dramillion Dragon, and a Titan Wing at that, as the king of dragons; but as Fishlegs discovers later on, it is only pointing to the final piece of the puzzle, the Titan Wing's breath unlocks the true secret - the dragon's home of Berserker Island.
- Big "NO!": Hiccup when Krogan's sea forces shoot down the Dramillion leader with a ballista.
- Cliffhanger: The episode ends with the Dragon Hunters invading Berserker Island.
- Made of Iron: Krogan manages to survive being shot off of his dragon at a very high altitude (albeit with his weapon to block the attack) and landing on his Singetail on the beach with barely a scratch on him.
- Screw the Rules, I Make Them!: Hiccup uses this clause as acting chief to disobey the council's orders to return to Berk so that he can help the riders. No one else (including Spitelout, who was sent to retrieve him) is really complaining.
- Traveling at the Speed of Plot: It takes the dragon riders half a day to find the gravely wounded Dramillion leader, but an unknown (if needing to be quite quick) amount of time to get it to the Defenders' island so it can heal.
- Warrior Poet: Tuffnut thinks of himself as one, dreaming of visiting places where the people speak only in verse.
