When a pair of Outcasts visits the Edge seeking the help of Thor Bonecrusher, Fishlegs allows Snotlout to hypnotize him to evoke his mighty alter ego.

- Anti-Hero: Subverted. Snotlout words Fishlegs's request to be less heroic as "anti-heroic", but Thor Bonecrusher apparently takes this literally and just turns into the opposite of a hero, i.e. a villain, betraying Snotlout and the Outcasts and joining up with the hunters during the transaction.
- Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: Snotlout and Fishlegs may constantly antagonize each other, but this episode proves they really are friends at the end of the day. Snotlout attacks the bandit leader when he attacks Fishlegs, and Fishlegs is enraged enough to defeat said bandit when Snotlout gets hurt.
- The Bus Came Back: The Outcasts return after an absence of four seasons.
- Double Agent: After Snotlout snaps Fishlegs out of his hypnotic state, Fishlegs pretends to act like it doesn't work and continues to work with the hunters to learn more about what they are planning and to feed information to the riders.
- Instant Sedation: It takes no time at all for Fishlegs to fall under a hypnotic trance with Snotlout's ball and chain.
- Real Men Eat Meat: Thor Bonecrusher takes a bite out of a raw fish to demonstrate his toughness.
