The Halidom crew prepare for a Halloween party with Cleo preparing treats (and keeping Luca from prematurely taking any), Althemia hauling pumpkins around before Edward takes over, and Euden deciding on the centerpiece for the party. As he decides, Cleo suggests a house made of candy, seeing that as being in the spirit of Halloween. Upon reaching an agreement, the crew decides to build a candy house called the Sweet Retreat.
As the continue preparing, Silke hears something rustling in the bushes only to dismiss it as her imagination. It soon turns out to be a horde of fiends who start eating the baked goods.
After driving them off, the crew finds that the fiends made off with all their sweets. Althemia reveals there to be a variation of fiend that likes to steal treats like the ones they just encountered. Edward points out that they can still put together a rough structure of the Sweet Retreat though as there are still a few ingredients remaining. However, more fiends attack as they work, and they don't stop.
Realizing how the attacking won't stop, the crew decides to bring the fight to the fiends. Althemia starts by suggesting costumes to fool the fiends and keep them from running off. This results in vampire costumes being made for her, Edward, Elisanne, and Silke.
The costumes prove effective as the team takes out the fiends one after another. However, they soon realize that something is likely to be attracting the fiends, and search for what it could be. Eventually, they find a sigil drawn in the Halidom that Althemia confirms to attract fiends. Upon the discovery, the team works on removing the sigil so that the attacks stop.
Upon which, the remaining fiends start attacking the town. After defeating the last of the fiends, the team is ready to start their Halloween party. Ranzal and Luca pull a tickle prank on Euden, while Elisanne and Althemia become flustered with embarrassment.
Elsewhere, Emile is frustrated that they found and removed his sigil, so he prepares to paint another one. As he does though, he ends up bumping into Silke, spilling his ink over her costume and making her so mad that she blasts him out of the Halidom.
This event contains examples of:
- Evil Is Petty: Emile is revealed to have been the one to paint the magic sigil that summoned the fiends simply to ruin the fun for the crew.
- Halloween Episode: The event is all about the Halidom crew throwing a Halloween party.
- Reluctant Fanservice Girl: Elisanne is not to fond of her costume as she considers it to be too revealing, only wearing it after Euden begins to volunteer to put it on.
- This Is Unforgivable!: Silke is absolutely livid with Emile for spilling ink over her dress that she tells him she wouldn't forgive such an action.
