    Beauty's Beast

  • Behavioral Conditioning: Zardin's actions result in Johanna behaving differently without her even noticing until it is pointed out.

    Plunder Pals

Notte, Maribelle, and Karina form a team to pull some Halloween pranks together.


  • Do Wrong, Right: Karina is disappointed that Notte and Maribelle didn't have have a Trick prepared, so she takes them in to show how to perform trickery.

    The Showdown

To prevent a fight between Xander and Ezelith, Cleo puts the to of them through a test.


  • Ham-to-Ham Combat: Both Xander and Ezelith are Egocentric and boastful, and the story is all about them trying to one-up the other.
  • Wax On, Wax Off: Subverted. When Cleo has Xander and Ezelith do mundane chores, it is at first interpreted as them being tests to prove who is better. In the end though, Cleo reveals to the audience that she is just tricking them into doing work around the castle as to discipline the both of them along with lighten her workload.
    Neither king nor genius sits at the top of the castle pecking order— It is—and always will be—Mom.

    Backbone

Hope joins a session of Edward consulting Ricardt to change and grow as a person.


  • Ironic Echo: Hope's advice to Ricardt who worries that trying to assert himself would inconvenience others gets thrown back to him when the conversation goes off the rails to Edward encouraging Ricardt to smash church windows despite it would inconvenience Hope.
    Gotta live for you, am I right?
  • Only Sane Man: Hope finds himself in this position when the session goes off topic from self improvement of Ricardt to smashing church windows with a lead pipe.

    Family Meeting

Notte decides to spend some time with Midgardsormr.


  • Didn't Think This Through: One of the activities Notte proposes with Midgardsormr is them feeding eachother. She is quick to back out when Midgardsormr brings up the size difference twice, pointing out how he would likely eat her with the food by accident and how hard it would be for him to feed her.

    Baking Blues

Julietta wants to bake something for Elisanne, but she is nervous about giving her something she doesn't like.


  • Cannot Spit It Out: Julietta admits to having this problem to Althemia regarding Elisanne and asks Althemia to grumble about it whenever she is unable to confess or give gifts to Elly.

    Ulterior Motives

In order to perk up Hildegarde's mood, Luca decides to throw her a Dragonyule party.

    Terrible Trio

Berserker, Karl, and Aeleen are sent to provide protection for a village against bandits.


  • The Ham Squad: Berserker and Karl are just as hammy as they usually are. Aeleen could have been the Only Sane Woman among them if her more violent personality didn't make her just as over the top.
  • Pyrrhic Victory: The trio manage to successfully ward off the bandits, but Aeleen beat up Berserker and Karl in her frenzy.

    Cuteness Conquers All

Amane find Fydon and Felyx and attempts to use them to discover the weaknesses of dragons, but will she be able to pull it off?


  • Cuteness Overload: Amane gets so enamored by how adorable Fydon and Felyx are that she completely forgets about her motives for taking them and instead looks after them for Xanfried.

  • Comically Missing the Point: When it is revealed that the ninja scrolls that Aoi gave Elissane are are to help her get somebody to fall in love with her, Jurota interprets it as her using the scrolls to win over negotiations and considers them to be a political area. Aoi rolls with it, but she shoots down Jurota's request to read them himself.

    World of Kindness

Louise notices Odetta all alone and decides to provide her some care.


  • Big Sister Instinct: Years of raising Lowen has made it where Louise has motherly instinct to care for others as much as her own brother, and she becomes determined to care for Odetta.

    Thief and Queen

Renelle tells Vida about a ruin she raided once. Nefaria, overhearing the story, finds herself familiar with the details.


  • "Could Have Avoided This!" Plot: Nefaria attempts to let Renelle know that her story is about some ruins she built repeatedly. It is only after Nefaria points out details and she asks how she knows that Nefaria is allowed to let it out.

    Shameful Pasts

Vixel and Fritz have a run in with one another and reminisce about their similarities.


  • Actually a Good Idea: After making up a performance to save face in front of two fans who overheard their conversation, Fritz proposes making it official. At first, Vixel is shocked but admits the idea to be something to consider.
  • "Not So Different" Remark: Upon the two meeting one another in frustration, Vixel makes not of how they are grumbling of the same issue, and the two of them discuss just how much alike they are.
  • Out-of-Context Eavesdropping: Two fans walk in while Vixel and Fritz are in a conversation of the trouble they got into in the past and misinterpret it as the two idols wanting to hurt them. Vixel and Fritz are forced to come up with a performance on the spot to calm them down.

    Once More, with Feeling

Jakob and Rodrigo make further attempts to tell Cleo how they feel about her.


  • Love Triangle: Jakob and Rodrigo find out they both have feelings for Cleo and compete for her only to form a truce when they realize that they are both making her upset instead.

    The World Beyond

With the prince agreeing to keep their village safe, Lowen goes to visit Garuda to provide her company as promised.


  • But Now I Must Go: Due to the village being under Euden's protection, Garuda tells Lowen she intends to leave as she no longer needs to keep them safe herself. It's then revealed that Louise and Lowen were planning to leave the village as well to help the prince at the halidom.

  • An Aesop: Weddings are meant for bond with a special somebody, not competition, and attempting to make it such will only lead to disaster.
  • Multi-Part Episode: This castle story is split into three parts.
  • Pass the Popcorn: Sarisse is eagerly awaiting an epic catfight between Elisanne, Aoi and Xania.
    Malora: Honestly, this is like dealing with children. Who makes a contest out of MARRIAGE?
    Sarisse: RIGHT?! I'm personally hoping they'll start fighting and rolling on the ground and pulling each other's hair or whatever. That would be the BEST.
She's disappointed when the three "brides" come in holding hands.
Sarisse: ...Huh? Why are they holding hands? WHERE'S MY HAIR PULLING?!
  • Wedding Episode: This three-part castle story is about Elisanne, Xania, and Aoi holding their ideal weddings to determine which one is better. As others point out though, their actions miss the point of what a wedding is meant for.

  • Have We Met?: When Audric returns from a mission Euden sent him on, Euden has completely forgotten about him and the mission.
  • Innocuously Important Episode: The Castle Stories usually tend to be humorous and/or heartwarming world building fluff. This story, however, previews the ramifications of Audric severing his causality that happen later on in the main story.
  • Unperson: Due to severing his chains of causality, everybody who knows Audric forgets about him if distanced from him after a certain amount of time. Cassandra offers to fix this only for Audric to turn it down.
