Miranda helps protect the Doom Patrol from some truly terrible ideas after a mysterious package arrives at Doom Manor. Rita's visit to the Cloverton beekeeper leads her to confront her lingering mommy issues. While on his way back to the manor, Cliff ends up stuck on the side of the road – literally. Niles heads north to find Dorothy's mother.

- Bird-Poop Gag: During his slow walk back to Doom Manor, Cliff Steele gets hit by bird droppings.
- Cut His Heart Out with a Spoon: Cliff at one point rants on how he intends to get even with the Chief for shooting him out of his spacecraft after crash-landing to Earth. He considers shooting Niles into space, finding his body afterwards, ripping off his head and defecating down his neckhole. When he remembers that it's impossible for him to defecate now that he's a brain in a robot body, he then decides that he'll just find a Great Dane with giardia and have it accomplish the task of shitting in Niles' neckhole.
- Dressed to Heal: Due to the scants Larry thinks just dressing like a doctor would be enough to fool the armed security guards.
- Impact Silhouette: When Cliff crash-lands back to Earth, he leaves a crater shaped like himself.
- Only Sane Man: Miranda is the only one not affected by the scants, leaving her as the only one to protect the others from themselves and their bad ideas.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: Thanks to the scants, Larry and Flit think it's a good idea to put on some lab coats to infiltrate the hospital without even bothering to cover their faces. The receptionist and the security guards are more baffled than fooled.
- Took a Level in Dumbass: As indicated by the episode title, the scants make the people they infect act their worst impulses and ideas.
