In this pilot episode, we discover the relationship between Dood and the Hand (Adam and the Creator if you will). Hand enters and draws Dood. With the final dots of the eyes, Dood comes to life. Excited by his new life he celebrates with a little dance but soon discovers the “playful” nature of his creator when he realizes he’s miles from the ground. Dood plummets towards the earth, landing on a telephone line, which splits him in two. The two halves pop into two wholes and the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde adventure begins…

The Pilot begins with Hand drawing Dood, starting with his head, his hair, and then his face. Just as Hand adds the pupils, Dood comes to life, looking around as Hand finishes his body. Dood looks at himself and then moves his body, being surprised by this as well. Dood then celebrates with a little dance before a butterfly comes into view and the doodle notices it, soon trying to catch it. But Dood then sees the butterfly go underneath him, causing him to reach his hand out to see if there was really nothing underneath. There isn't and Dood shoots a "Oh crap." expression when he realizes he's in mid-air.

As Dood falls, he soon lands on a telephone line, and said line goes through him. Dood seems alright until the top of his head splits open, the split then continues down his body, and the two halves of Dood hop away from each other before jumping into the air and popping into two complete Doods.

The two boys look at each other, but whilst Dood looks at the screen, Dood 2's face changes to a menacing grin, before acting like nothing's happening when Dood looks back at him. The doodle chuckles whilst pointing at his copy, who then proceeds to pull out a bucket of water. Dood looks at his copy and begs him not to, but his copy just mocks him and spills the water on him anyways, laughing at the now soaked Dood.

Hand draws a facet and gestures Dood 2 to use it, but whilst Dood 2's busy filling a water balloon, Dood pulls out a pencil and draws a square in front of his copy. When his copy turns around, filled water balloon in hand, Dood just yawns, confusing Dood 2, leading him to throw the balloon anyways. But rather than getting Dood soaked, it only gets the window wet, confusing the copy even more as Dood looks smugly at the screen. As Dood 2 tries to figure out what's going on, Dood pulls out a hammer, his copy soon looks with shock with what he's about to do. Dood, however, just lightly tapes the glass square, leaving a dent that soon cracks the entire panel. Dood 2 looks at thescreen before the panel shatters into pieces, whilst the original Dood watches it unfold. Dood chuckles, finally glad he gave Dood 2 what he deserved, but not before Dood 2's hand pops out of one of the pieces, erasing the line of ground. After the pieces fall and Dood realizes he's about to fall again, Dood gives Hand the death glare before falling. The butterfly from earlier shows up, soon being squished by the word "FIN", Ending the pilot.

    • Later on Dood 2 does this once the glass square that trapped him is about to shatter.
  • Pilot Episode: This was the pilot Sean Scott made after Gretha Rose suggested making a series of shorts based on the theme "Creativity".
