Ambiguous Syntax: Cranky refers to the brain-swapping helmets as brain transfer helmets while Klump is spying on him. When Klump reports it to K. Rool, the Lizard King believes he can transfer knowledge from all his books to himself. He later decides to try and transfer the Crystal Coconut's power to himself. Regardless he's thwarted before its shown what would have happened.
"Freaky Friday" Flip: Cranky's brain-swap helmets cause this; We have DK swapped with Cranky's robot, and Candy swapped with Klump.
Hurricane of Puns: The other Kongs can't help but make a bunch of "head" puns at robot Donkey Kong once his head becomes detached from his body. The puns take up the entirety of what's supposed to be one of the episode's songs (though the puns aren't actually sung).
Series Continuity Error: K. Rool is shown to have difficulty reading from the cook book in this episode, even though in the first episode, he was able to read from the curse book with no trouble.
Voices Are Mental: Lampshaded by DK while singing "Metal Head". For some reason, he, Diddy, and Cranky aren’t too suspicious that Candy may have switched bodies since Klump often forgets to talk with a falsetto while in her body (and even when he does it’s not very convincing). Diddy does question her voice change, but it doesn’t occur to him she may have switched bodies (even though he knows body swapping is a thing) until he meets her in Klump’s body.
