Go To

Tropes

  • Accidental Hero: DK "saves" Bluster randomly turning off the Barrelworks machinery before it kills him, without realizing it.
  • Big "SHUT UP!": K. Rool gives a brilliant one to end Bluster's ridiculously long song.
    K. Rool: THAT'S ENOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUGH!
    (Everyone freezes, startled)
  • Conveyor Belt of Doom: Bluster accidentally ends up on one while trapped in a barrel before DK accidentally stops him from being killed by nearby machinery.
  • I Owe You My Life: After DK "saves" Bluster's life, he feels as though he needs to protect DK to make up for it. Unfortunately, his idea of "danger" is swinging on vines, balancing on a barrel and germs from kissing Candy.
  • Last Request: Bluster requests to sing a song before being sent to work underneath K. Rool's lair. He proceeds to sing Donkey Kong's song from earlier in the episode, which is a parody of "10 Green Bottles"... with one extra zero. This manages to buy enough time for DK to come to the rescue.
  • Scheherezade Gambit: When Bluster is captured by King K. Rool, he manages to stall for time by singing the entirety of DK's song.
  • Villain Song: "No One's Going to Make a Monkey Out of Me"
