Vows
Picking up a few months after Omega, Echo weds a wealthy British businessman tied to one of Agent Ballard's open FBI cases. Meanwhile Dr. Saunders has a breakdown over the discovery of who she truly is, and takes it all out on Topher. Echo starts having random flashbacks of her previous engagements.
Tropes present in this episode:
- Boomerang Bigot: Played for Laughs. Sierra (played by the part-Tibetan actress Dichen Lachman) is imprinted with a racist British lady who tells Ivy (played by Filipino actress Liza Lapira) she's "not comfortable with Orientals". Takes a left turn deeper into awkward when she expresses a desire for Ivy to tie her down and spank her.
- Call-Back: Echo glitches while talking to Klar and refers to herself as "Mrs. Eleanor Penn", one of her Imprints from "Ghost".
- Everyone Has Standards: Boyd tells DeWitt that he thinks having Echo marry Klar to spy on him is "sick".
- Heroic BSoD: Dr. Saunders/Whiskey has a breakdown over the knowledge that she is an Active.
- Noodle Incident: Boyd makes an oblique reference to a Dollhouse client who wanted to be rolled in eggs and flour and dipped in something.Adelle: Ah, Tempura Joe. Such a lonely soul.
- Out of Focus: Still healing from having his face slashed by Alpha, Victor barely appears in the episode.
- Put on a Bus: Dr. Saunders leaves the Dollhouse at the end of the episode.
- Time Skip: A few months have passed since Omega.
- Wham LineEcho: I remember everything.
