The title card

The Twelve Days of Christmas is the twelfth volume of the Disney's Sing-Along Songs direct-to-video series. It was the sequel to a previous Christmas-themed volume, Very Merry Christmas Songs. The volume features more famous Christmas songs with Disney characters.

Featured songs:

  1. "Very Merry Christmas"
  2. "Deck the Halls"
  3. "Dear Santa"
  4. "Jingle Bells"
  5. "Snow Ho-Ho"
  6. "Hip Hop Noel"
  7. "He Delivers"
  8. "The Twelve Days of Christmas"
  9. "I'd Like to Have an Elephant for Christmas"
  10. "Here Comes Santa"
  11. "O Christmas Tree/We Wish You a Merry Christmas"

Extra notes:

  • This was the last volume to have the 1990-1993 cover art. Future volumes had the "Ocean Waves" logo from that point on.
  • This is also the last volume to have the 1986 Disney's Sing-Along-Songs title card.

This volume provides examples of:

  • Call-Back: During "He Delivers", Huey's exclamation of "I Believe!" is accompanied by the cloud animation that appeared in the "Friend Like Me" video during the title song.
  • Christmas Episode: Again, this does not have the regular Disney's Sing-Along Songs theme song, though unlike Very Merry Christmas Songs, the first few bars of the theme play over a generic Sing-Along Songs title card.
  • Face Palm: During the eponymous song, this is Mickey's reaction when Goofy admits he lost track of the song after the "9 Pipers Piping" verse.
  • Rearrange the Song: This video's version of "Deck the Halls" has a few different verses than the original.
  • Recycled Soundtrack: Many songs were recycled from the 1991 Disney album The Twelve Days of Christmas.
  • Stock Footage: "Hip Hop Noel" is accompanied by snippets from the Silly Symphony "The Night Before Christmas". Also, "Here Comes Santa" contains footage of the Christmas parades at both Magic Kingdom and the then Disney-MGM Studios.
