St. Clair's Convent is in need of members and recruits one of it's former disciples Greg Wilson to make a recruitment video.
"Sister Michael Wants You" displays symptoms of the following tropes:
- Bad Habits: Dr. Sloan going undercover as a priest. And Sister Regina pretending to be a nun.
- Clear Their Name: The church's gardener Vic Chandler is arrested for Greg's murder due to the gun being found in the trash can outside of the garage he lives in and having no alibi and a criminal record.
- Double Entendre: Steve sees his father, disguised as a priest, and calls him "Father". And Mark subsequently calling Steve "Son".
- Hypocrite: Sister Regina gets on Mark and Sister Michael's case for him impersonating a priest, while both not being a nun and actually being Greg's killer.
- In the Back: Greg is read his last rites from the book of .38 revolver to the back.
- MacGuffin: The tape Greg hid in the church.
- Poorly Disguised Pilot: This is the first of a few episodes made that were to act as backdoor pilots for other series and spinoffs. In this case, it would have centered on Sister Michael, a nun solving crimes.
