• Artistic License – Law: Angela says Dexter will be extradited to Florida to stand trial for his crimes as the Bay Harbor Butcher. Even if she could definitively prove Dexter killed Matt and Jasper and injected Miles, those crimes alone do not prove he ever killed anyone in Florida.
• Calling the Old Man Out: Harrison rightfully points that while Dexter went after people who were arguably a lot worse than him, his killing of other killers was more about satisfying his homicidal urges than getting justice for their victims.
• Internal Reveal:
  • Batista finds out Dexter survived Hurricane Laura.
  • Angela, along with law enforcement in general, learns about Kurt's lair, including Molly's death.
• Let Off by the Detective: Angela lets Harrison leave town after he surrenders. She also promises not to tell anyone that she saw him at the scene of Dexter's death.
• Wham Episode: Dexter is exposed as a murderer and then killed by Harrison.
