It's Magic Time
Margaret says Max the Magnificent is a better magician than Dennis, but when they go to see his show, Dennis knows all the tricks and shows up the mean magician, to the delight of the audience.
Dennis in Wonderland
While stopping Ruff from digging up Mr. Wilson's rose garden, Dennis trips in a hole and ends up in Wonderland. Instead of Alice, we have Dennis, and he turns the story upside-down with his typical activities.
Water on the Brain
Joey, Dennis and Margaret discover a subterranean river and try to stop a group of robbers from using it to rob a bank.
"It's Magic Time" provides examples of:'
- Anchovies Are Abhorrent: After Joey points out Max the Magnificent's carrot-to-pizza spell and that Dennis tried it, Margaret says Max the Magnificent's pizza has anchovies on top, and Joey responds "Yuck!".
- Shout-Out: Dennis utters "Hocus Pocus Dominocus" when performing his carrot-to-pizza spell, with Dominocus being a shoutout to the pizza store chain Domino's Pizza.
