When you think of electric combatants, these two always come to mind: Pikachu, Ash's first Pokémon, and Blanka.
Pikachu: Small but loyal, Pikachu is marked by poor stamina and strength, but is speedy and has powerful electrical attacks. He is one of the best of his kind, but has little experience fighting on his own and has poor defense.
Blanka: Blanka was once an ordinary boy before a plane he was on crash landed into the Amazon. Forced to survive, his skin has turned green from camouflage, and his diet of electric eels gave him electricity based powers.
He found his way to civilization and made friends with Dan, and discovered he was one of the most agile competitors out there. He has a wide variety of moves that he developed all by himself.
However, Blanka has no training except for Dan Hibiki, and though he didn't win any tournaments in his life, he was chosen among hundreds to represent Brazil.
After an ad from Carbonite, IT'S TIME FOR A DEATH BATTLE!

Blanka charges in with a series of quick blows and Pikachu retaliates with a bolt of electricity which has no effect. Blanka charges Pikachu and sends him flying. Pikachu rushes Blanka with his speed, getting in several good hits before a counter-attack from Blanka sends both fighters flying away.
Another bolt of electricity from Pikachu has no effect. Blanks tries to steamroll Pikachu but his attack is dodged. Pikcahu charges a ball of electricity that finally hurts Blanka, but he gets up and charges Pikcachu. Pikachu rushes toward Blanka as well. As the two fighters meet, Blanka just bites off Pikcachu's head. After taking the head, he puts the rest of the electric mouse into a blender and swallows the rest of him, finishing with a burp of electrcity.
K.O.!
Pikachu may be fast, but his glass cannon fighting can't compete with Blanka's physical superiority, and he has rarely demonstrated competence while on his own. Not to mention that Blanka's experience in the wild also gave him experience hunting down animals.
