When Fang starts sneezing more than usual, Dave and Lula take her to nearest doctor who, after examining her and (just like everyone else outside of Fang's family) mistaking her for a monkey, claims that Fang's (somehow) allergic to her own eyeballs. The doctor claims that the only cure for it is juice from a rare fruit called the puckerberry, which can be found only on the Island of Lost Sunglasses.
While Candy and Oswidge stay behind in Udrogoth, Fang's accompanied by Dave, Lula and Faffy—after getting separated during a rhino stampede, Fang's taken in by a family of monkeys who greatly resemble her. After spending some time with them (during which it turns out that eyeball allergy is quite common), Fang begins to wonder if she really is a monkey. However, after eating some of the puckerberries, Fang's not cured, making her realize that she is in fact a human—unfortunately, this leads to the monkeys turning on Fang.
Fang's reunited with Dave (who was taken in by a family gorillas), Faffy (who was taken in by a family of sentient lemons) and Lula (who was checked into a nearby hotel). Eventually, after making it back to the beach, Fang tries convincing the monkeys, gorillas and lemons to accept each other's difference, but they just end up attacking each other instead—Fang and the others eventually make it back home, where Oswidge discovers that Fang was never allergic to her own eyeballs in the first place. Apparently, Fang's sneezing was caused by a sneeze gremlin that somehow got into her nose. After getting the little guy out of her nose, the sneeze gremlin ends up lodged in Candy's nose at the end of the episode.
