Seeing that Karen is low on funds, Babs gets her a job at the Burrito Bucket.
Tropes:
- Chekhov's Gun: Babs's training steps of the Babs Special, overloading the napkin dispensers, and not cleaning the floor, all come back to help defeat the Condiment King.
- Idiosyncrazy: Mitchell lampshades keeping to his theme as Condiment King when Batgirl complains that his binding glue isn't really ketchup. He follows up with the fact that his mustard gun is a flamethrower.
- New Job Episode: Karen needs money to repair her Bumblebee suit, so Babs gets her a job at the Burrito Bucket.
- Oh, Crap!: Shane O'Shaughnessy has this reaction to the news that Babs has brought Mitchell Mayo back to work, since he's been fired from multiple restaurants for being too obsessive about the job.
- Right Way/Wrong Way Pair: Babs and Karen when working at Burrito Bucket. Babs annoys her manager by doing things wrong, resulting in her making a mess; Karen, on the other hand, does everything by the book, which quickly endears her to Shane (who downright states that Babs is the worst employee he's had) — to the point that she is made Employee of the Month and Babs gets fired.
- Sanity Slippage: Mitchell Mayo took his work at Burrito Bucket way too seriously, so seriously that he was fired for constantly harassing both his coworkers and the customers. He was then hired by, and fired from, several other restaurants for the same reason. And after being blacklisted from working in fast food service, was driven insane by his inability to find work, until he adopted the persona of the Condiment King.
- Shout-Out: During the montage, Mitchell Mayo takes two buns and puts them on either side of a waitress's face. Gordon Ramsay is famous for making one of the chefs from Hell's Kitchen call herself an idiot sandwich when he put two slices of bread on either side of her head.
- Status Quo Is God: Babs gets fired partway through the episode. By its end, though, she has her job back and Karen has quit, having earned enough to pay for repairs to her Bumblebee suit.
