Batgirl finally has the chance to live out her life's dream and be the sidekick to her hero and inspiration - the Batman!

- Bat Deduction: Batgirl deduces that tomorrow is always on its way here but never arrives, and from that figures out that the Riddler is planning to steal something from the Metropolis World of Tomorrow exhibit. It turns out that Batman wrote a book about the tactic that Batgirl had read.
- The Bus Came Back: Bizarro Supergirl returns, after having not been seen since "#TheGoodTheBadandTheBizarre."
- Call-Back: Batgirl's new costume, to match with Batman's while she's his sidekick, was worn by one of the alternate Barbaras in "#BackInAFlash".
- Character Development: Batgirl realizes that she and Batman clash in certain things like how to celebrate, and realizes she may lose these things if she continues this path, and also realizes Robin needs the sidekick gig more than her and remembers she has a team, and went back on her own terms.
- Felony Misdemeanor: Batgirl and Robin compete over who can capture the most lawbreakers. While Batgirl gets real criminals — a bank robber, a mugger, a rampaging Giganta — Robin only brings in people for minor infractions; he is seen catching an old lady not using the crosswalk when crossing the street and a guy eating outside food at a burger place. By the time he's caught up to Batgirl, he's also captured a baby and a goldfish in a bowl (with Babs questioning what he arrested the fish for).
- Hypercompetent Sidekick: Barbara becomes one, of course, as soon as she's promoted as Batman's official sidekick.
- Impossible Thief: While in the girls' hideout, Catwoman manages to steal various items from the girls, including the S off of Supergirl's shirt.
- Intelligible Unintelligible: As a joke on his typically gravely voice, Batman can only mumble in this interpretation. Everyone understands him perfectly anyway.
- Mythology Gag: When talking about working with Batman, Barbara mentions her uncle Al, referring to Batman & Robin, which changed Barbara to be Alfred's niece.
- Pre-Mortem One-Liner: Robin tries to do this to the Riddler, but doesn't quite succeed.Robin: Riddle me this, who is a bozo?
Riddler: Eh....
Robin: You are! (Punches out the Riddler) - Status Quo Is God: Batgirl can't bring herself to take Robin's place as Batman's partner after seeing how much it means to him, and thus sticks with the Super Hero Girls.
- Throw the Dog a Bone: Babs feels sorry for Robin and makes it look like he caught the Riddler instead of her.
- Tyop on the Cover: "I" is presumed to be missing from the episode's title.
