• Bigger on the Inside: Very easy to miss, but the Zatara's mobile home is this. Zee has a huge bedroom with a king-size bed and an en suite bathroom, somewhere inside a vehicle the size of a small van.
• Lives in a Van: The Zataras do for most of Zee's childhood, until their act gets famous enough for them to move into something more permanent.
• Missing Mom: The episode depicts Zee's childhood, but never mentions why it's just her and her dad living on the road^note The comic versión of Sindella, Zatana's mother, was kidnapped by her people, the Homo Magi, shortly after Zee's birth.
• Power Incontinence: Throughout most of the episode. Where stuff just happens around Zee, until her father sees what's going on and explains it means she can use magic.
