An UnSub with an obsession with water tries to find a substitute for his childhood friend who died.

- Desperate Plea for Home: The UnSub makes friends with a young boy by the name of Timmy, who unfortunately buys into the former's pirate fantasy. This leads to the poor kid being bound and gagged as well, awaiting his turn to be the killer's next victim, during which he manages a muffled "I want to go home!"
- Psychopathic Manchild: The UnSub is stuck as a child due to a combination of his friend dying and being institutionalized as a child.
- Sworn Brothers: The UnSub takes this concept very seriously, so, when he tricks a local kid into blending blood with him, he holds him responsible for the same imaginary pirate treasure his friend died to protect.
