Taboo
A man loses it after he finds out his mother is actually his grandmother, while his sister, who he's attracted to, is his biological mother who became hypersexual after a brain damage. He decides the best way to handle this is to drown women in concrete.

- Everyone Has Standards: Invoked by Reid, who remarks that given the major taboo associated with incest, it's a line even someone with hypersexuality would be unlikely to cross.
- Family Relationship Switcheroo: The UnSubs mother turned out to actually be his grandmother, his sister is actually his biological mother. She had an accident when she was 15 which caused hypersexuality in her, and had the UnSub when she was 16. As she was unable to raise a child at that point, her mother adopted him.
- Heroes Love Dogs: The beginning montage shows Alvez spending time with his dog.
- Make-Out Point: The UnSub is using one of these as his dumping ground. While on a stakeout, Alvez and Prentiss catch a teen couple who snuck out of their houses for some alone time.
- Right Behind You: Prentiss starts profiling Alvez according to how his desk looks, while JJ and Reid try to show her that Alvez is standing right behind her.
- Spoiler Opening: Despite Prentiss insisting she's only there for this one case, the opening montage shows that in the Team Shot, she has replaced Hotch, making it clear that she's there to stay.
