Heading to Devilman's bridge to hopefully stop R.J Fielding from being possessed by Abigail Riley, the Hunters soon discover the oil tycoon's body hung on a cactus in the way the Hanged man card is portrayed.
Tropes:
- Back for the Dead: Obviously R.J, even though he was gone for one single case.
- The Bus Came Back: Everybody on the suspect list was seen before. Who are Arthur Darkwood, Axel Bross, Greg Schmidt, Ronnie Hawk and Zeke Davis.
- The Climax: For the Southwest
- Cute Ghost Girl: Abigail's ghost is a quite lovely looking one... But her understandable temper, on the other hand...
- Demonic Possession: Abigail possesses Luke in order to get the Hunters to leave Axel alone, or else she'd make him pull the trigger on himself. Thankfully, the team exorcises her out of him before she can do just that.
- Old, Dark House: The house near Devilman's bridge... It happens to be the one where Abigail's six "friends" summoned a demon.
- Murder Into Malevolence: In a Deal with the Devil, Abigail's life was traded for info on reservoirs of copper, gold and oil. Safe to say she wasn't and still isn't very happy her friends betrayed her like that.
- The Power of Love: What convinces Abigail to finally pass on, which is in the form of a ring Axel gifted her just before her death.
- Trademark Favorite Food: The killer eats chicken fried steak.
- Tarot Motifs: Of course being a case that Abigail's involved in, this time the victim's posed up like the Hanged Man.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Anges Leek, who the six friends got the spell book to summon that demon in the first place.
- With Friends Like These...: Abigail's 6 friends (Who she possessed except for R.J) basically had a demon to kill her, all so they can be rich as hell.
- Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: One detail on the killer is that they're afraid of the dark.
- Yandere: Axel is this for Riley even after she died, to the point he hung R.J out of love for her when she asked.
